Jairus pay it forward

Part #1. "Pay it forward" is when you do an act of kindness and get nothing back in return and keeps going to person to person.

Part #2.
a) my act of kindness is giving candy with a letter saying "pay it forward" and also explaning what we are doing and what is pay it forward.

b) I chose this activity because I don't have to talk to people and it sounded fun.

c) I help people in the sargent park community.

d) I bought candy and took pictures with my partner Paulo.

e) I did it on Tuesday afternoon.

Jairus's Proportion post

Task #1

proportion- an equation which states that two ratios (fraction) are equal

Ratio- a relationship between two similar numbers

Rate- compares two quantities measured in diffrent units



Task #2

#1. 5 hours to travel 360 miles is about 1 hour\72 miles

#2. as a playground worker, if I increase amount of apple juice I am serving at the playground from 25ml to 100ml, how much should I increase the orange juice to, to keep the same quantities in the same proportion. The orange juice is 50ml to start.

This is not fair because its only $100 dollars and its fifteen years while the other guy stole 3 billion thats big money and its only 3 years.


3. If i were a judge i would give 15 years to the guy who stole $3billion and give the 3 year to the one who stole the $100 dollars.
