8cm²+6cm²=11cm²
(8x8)+(6x6)=(11x11)

Kai uses an entire can of paint on a square backdrop for the school play. The label on the can states that one can cover 27 cm² of the wall surface. Estimate the backdrop's side lenth to one decimal place.

ANSWER: 5.2

EXPLANATION: The square root of 27cm is 5.196152423 and when you make it into the closest decimal place it is 5.2.

b) 9
Identify all possible whole numbers that have a square root between 4 and 5.

ANSWER: 17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24.

EXPLANATION:All the square roots of each number equal a number between 4 and 5.
